2. SUNRIS Tactical Military Ballistic Helmet If you're into something a little more futuristic and sci-fi, this helmet may be more your cup of tea. This thing looks like something straight out of Battlestar: Galactica and has a few nice attributes, aside from looking all sorts of badass. The open-shaped visor provides a much more unimpeded view of your surroundings than some other full-helmet protection out there. It's rated to be highly impact and corrosion resistant, and has a modular-interchangeable lens. It does run a little on the expensive end, but there is a bit of a premium for style from the future. 3. Tech-p Death Skull Face Mask If the last entry was straight out of the future, then this entry is straight out of your opponent's worst nightmares. With the twisted, distorted features of a demon, this mask is terrifying. Imagine this thing sneaking up on you during a tense game of woodsball. Although it doesn't wrap around and cover the whole head (thus, it's a mask more than a helmet) it will protect your face and your important bits from the impact of a paintball. The mesh areas are large, easy to see through, and most importantly sturdy, and this mask comes in at a much cheaper price point than the previous entries, making it perfect for the paintballer who wants to look badass on a tight budget. 4. Invader King Mummy Airsoft Mask This mask is equal portions of creepy and cool -- the paint and sculpting detail add to it's realistic living-dead aesthetic. In addition to the killer design, this mask has a few useful advantages. The large, goggle-style eyepieces make it easy to see your surroundings with no obstruction -- the extra bit of peripheral vision can make a big difference to your on-field reaction time and positioning awareness. Additionally, the wide bottom shape provides adequate neck protection and reaches lower than it may seem at first. 5. Custom Samurai Assassin Oni Mask This mask is in limited supply, and thus will not be available forever, but it was too damn cool not to include in this list. Created by a mask-maker called Tripple_777, this mask is custom-made of strong fiberglass, with black steel mesh to protect the wearer's eyes. This design is very unique, and you would truly be one of a kind on the battlefield while wearing it. A well-detailed and constructed homage to the badasses of Japanese history, this piece is a bit more expensive than the others on this list, but I was surprised that the price difference was not as large as I was expecting.
